About Us 

Southminster Presbyterian Church spreads its wings over the Community in its nurturing and outreach activities.  Our members are active in many community activities.  We support our member's volunteer interests.

Programs sponsored by Southminster include:

- Alcoholics Anonymous: Monday 8-9 PM and Wednesday 7-8 PM
- Presbyterian Women Joy Circle (day) and Evening Circle
- Christian Women's and Men's Fellowship every Sunday after Worship
- Health Fair/Flea Market in September
- Vacation Bible School in July
- Summer Reading Hour July and August
- Crafty Christians as scheduled
- Pre-Ged Classes Monday and Wednesday
- ESOL Classes Sunday and Wednesday
- Electrician Classes Tuesday and Thursday
- Blood Pressure Screening monthly

Programs supported in the Community include:

- Oxon Hill Elementary School Partnership Program
-Oxon Hill Food Pantry at Our Savior's Lutheran Church-emergency food
  3 times in a calendar year, 4915 St. Barnabas Road 301-899-8358
- Young Life of Southern Prince George's County-we  support  the program started at Oxon Hill High School
- Pennywise Thrift Shop 5203 St. Barnabas Road. Open Fri & Sat

- Foster Children Program-we collect gently used duffle bags,
  gifts at Christmas
- Chemo Hats and Knitting for non-profit patient assistance programs
- Financial Counseling-we support the Prince George's Cooperative
