THE GATHERING OF GOD’S PEOPLE
Call to Worship
Leader: Eternal God: you have called us to be members of one body. Join us in Spirit with those who in all times and places have praised your name; that, having one faith, we may show the unity of your church, and bring honor to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
People: God our ruler: rule over us as we meet together, and so fill us with your Spirit, that in faith, hope, and love we may worship you, and proclaim your mighty deeds; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
Leader: The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars; the Lord breaks the cedars of Lebanon.
People: The voice of the Lord flashes forth flames of fire. The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness;
Leader: The LORD sits enthroned over the flood; the LORD sits enthroned as King forever.
ALL: May the LORD give strength to his people! May the LORD bless his people with Peace!
